Island Montessori Charter School transformation was one of the projects for the Work on Wilmington service organization. Work on Wilmington is a project of the Leadership Wilmington Class, and shows just how much can be accomplished in four hours when community members work together.

On May 3rd we helped transform the current empty space outside the lower school into outdoor classrooms to create a more enriching learning environment for our children. The projects included laying mulch, building planter boxes, creating pathways and borders and installing tables. For more information on you can get involved, visit workonwilmington.org
