Jeff Steele, Account Executive – CIC, CAWC
Jeff Steele is a Senior Account Executive in Wells Insurance’s Myrtle Beach office. He graduated from Youngstown State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and has been in the insurance industry since 1991. He began his insurance career with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and has worked for national and regional insurance brokerage firms. He has also operated as an independent insurance consultant for one of the nation’s oldest insurance and risk management consulting firms.
Jeff has broad experience in traditional insurance as well as alternative risk transfer options such as captive insurance, retrospectively rated and large deductible programs. His client base has consisted of prominent busing and trucking operations, golf and country clubs, construction and hospitality companies. He has also done insurance and risk management consulting work for companies in the healthcare and banking industry as well as for public entities such as municipalities and school districts.
Jeff earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2002 from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, and earned his Certified Authority on Workers Compensation (CAWC) designation in 2014.
He and his wife, Susan, live in Myrtle Beach with their three children.
