Account Manager – Commercial Lines – Wilmington, NC

 

Wells Insurance is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and computer proficient Account Manager for their Commercial lines department.

Wells Insurance is one of the largest and most established insurance agencies in North Carolina.  Currently representing A+ rated regional and national carriers and providing coverage to individuals and corporations in 36 states.

Job Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Minimum of five(5) years experience in the insurance industry and/or Commercial insurance marketing
  • Sales Experience
  • Possess above average computer proficiency and the ability to work on multiple screens
  • Experience using Applied Systems EPIC online software
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to market, retain, and service customers due to your professional qualifications and product knowledge
  • Takes the initiative to proactively manage their assigned book of business
  • Ability to work as a team member and link between account managers, carriers and producers
  • Must have exceptional time management skills and be organized and detail-oriented
  • Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualities

  • Underwriting and/or Risk Management experience
  • CPCU, CRM, CIC designation(s)
  • Possess a college degree
  • Positive and dynamic team player
  • Inquisitive and excited to learn
  • Love change and be flexible!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Sense of humor
