Account Manager – Personal Lines – Southport, NC

Wells Insurance is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and computer proficient Account Manager for their Personal Lines department in Southport, NC.

 

Wells Insurance is one of the largest and most established insurance agencies in North Carolina. Currently representing A+ rated regional and national carriers and providing coverage to individuals and corporations in 36 states.

Job Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Five (5) years experience in the insurance industry
  • Sales Experience
  • Possess above average computer proficiency and the ability to work on multiple screens
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to review policies and answer customer questions based on your professional qualifications and product knowledge
  • Takes the initiative to proactively manage their assigned book of business
  • Ability to work as a team member and link between account managers, carriers and account executives
  • Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience using Applied System’s TAM Online software
  • CISR designation
  • Possess a college degree
  • Positive and dynamic team player
  • Inquisitive and excited to learn
  • Embrace change and be flexible!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Sense of humor
