On December 11, 2014 the garage between Wells Insurance’s downtown headquarters and our neighbor Cousin’s Deli, was transformed into a low country banquet as we started celebrating our staff and thanking them for all their hard work, and for an excellent year. Lights aglow, heaters poured into the space as our staff arrived, eager to share time with friends and family, to laugh about events this year and to look forward to days to come. The cold weather couldn’t keep spirits down – Christmas Reggae music flowed, beverages warmed us and laughter was contagious. Catering was provided by Middle of the Island, rentals by Party Suppliers, and from our good friend Joe at Cousin’s. The lights and the exposed brick felt warm and welcoming on a cold night, as did the incredible 8 bushels of oysters that we went through.

It was agreed by all of our staff that this year was the best party we’ve ever thrown – as a matter of fact, this writer personally was told by others that they have been to many different company Christmas parties over the years and there was something special about this one. We would agree and I know that many of us feel fortunate to have the chance to work with a company that so obviously cares for us.
