July 11, 2014 was “Cans for Cones” day!

Summer is the time of year when food banks struggle to feed the hungry. Our staff held a food drive this week and were rewarded by a visit from the Chilly Treats Ice Cream Truck  as a thank you for participating!   It feels (and tastes) great to help out our community and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.

Our drive resulted in 205 pounds of food and $61.00 in cash donations given to help the hungry!
