Karen Horrell

Karen Horrell is an Administrative Receptionist at Wells Insurance, where she supports both the Personal Lines and Accounting Teams. A Wilmington native, Karen graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology.

Prior to joining Wells Insurance, Karen spent many years with New Hanover County Schools as a teacher and later as an Instructional Coach before retiring in 2022. She then joined the Wells team, bringing her strong organizational and communication skills to her role.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys volunteering at Thalian Hall and the Wilson Center, as well as spending time with her family.
