Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith is a Senior Client Advisor who focuses on marine insurance coverage at Wells Insurance.

Originally from New Jersey, Lauren moved to the Wilmington area and began her career with Wells Insurance in 2012. She started on the Personal Lines team before transitioning to the marine department, where she combines her professional expertise with her lifelong passion for boating.

Lauren began boating at the age of fourteen on Greenwood Lake in New York and owned her first boat by the age of sixteen. Her experience on the water allows her to better understand the unique needs of marine insurance clients.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys boating, camping with her husband and three children, attending car shows, and cheering on her kids at their soccer games.
